Oscar winner Hilary Swank has had a rough summer. She recently broke up with boyfriend John Campisi after five long years of dating, and now she's selling her Pacific Palisades home in California, which the couple shared.
The online listing shows that the spacious ocean-view Mediterranean-style mansion is on the market for $9.5 million, about 4 million more than what Swank paid for in 2007. The mansion has three-stories, worked over and "restored" by the Santa Monica- and Santa Barbara-based A-game architects Mark Appleton & Associates along with New York City-based designer Mark Zeff.
The house measures 6,722 square feet, with six bedrooms and six and half bathrooms. A large top-floor master suite features a fireplace, lots of arched windows, a walk-in closet, and a master bathroom with a giant chandelier, standing tubs, and an armchair.
Huh? who needs an armchar in the bathroom?
Anyway, the rooms itself are also glamorous, with a step down living room with lit by twin chandeliers. French door provide direct access to an arch-lined loggia.
The 38-year-old actress started in a series of low-grade movies and raunchy TV shows, including The Karate Kid Part 3 and Beverly Hills 90210. But throughout the last decade, her status as a legit actress rose with several Oscar winning -- and Oscar nominated turns -- most notably in the Clint Eastwood-directed Million Dollar Baby.
