Attention, Playboy fans: The Playboy Bunny House in Holmby Hills has hit the market! But don't be too quick to make an offer -- it's not exactly what you might expect.

Located right across the street from the Playboy Mansion's rear service entrance on South Mapleton Drive, the Playboy Bunny House is a two-story ranch-style home that has hosted some of Playboy's hottest models over the past decade. The Bunny house serves as a kind of guest house for the young women who come to model for the famous nudie mag, and has been featured on the E! reality show Girls Next Door.

But while the Playboy Mansion generally maintains an image of glitz, glamour, and sexy opulence, the Playboy Bunny House is a different story.

The Bunny House features five bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, and some questionable interior features. Check out the wall-to-wall carpeting in the slideshow above, for example. It's the first of several signs that this place doesn't quite fit in with the fancy Holmby Hills neighborhood, an area stuffed full of celebrity and designer homes. American Top 40 host Casey Kasem, for example, just listed his Holmby Hills house on the same street for $42 million.

But the Playboy Bunny House isn't your typical Los Angeles luxury home.

Just look at the Playboy Bunny House lounge. A red and white area rug with an abstract pattern is laid on top of the white wall-to-wall carpeting in front of an odd geometric sofa that does nothing for the large room. Add in the odd combination of stools at the built-in wood-paneled bar -- four in the shape of the Playboy Bunny logo and three unfortunate chrome-and-brown seats -- and it's clear the Playboy Bunny House won't be winning any design awards in the near future.

Still, the Playboy Bunny House isn't entirely without its charms. The whale-shaped swimming pool with its cascading waterfall are situated in a pleasant-looking backyard protected from prying eyes by loads of trees and shrubbery, making an impressive little outdoor oasis. Sure, the landscaping is in dire need of maintenance -- but it has potential!

Besides, this is the Playboy Bunny House, where countless models have partied by the pool in skimpy bikinis -- or less. That might count for something. Right?

The fact is, this isn't what we imagine when we think of where Playboy Bunnies lay their heads. And for $11 million, there are countless other luxury properties on the Los Angeles County market that blow this run-down house out of the water. Just look at this gorgeous home above the Sunset Strip, available for just over half the price of the Bunny House!
