In Cleveland, a suicide note allegedly written by Ariel Castro tells the abductor's side of a tale that gets more gruesome by the day. Castro is accused of abducting three young girls in the early 2000s and holding them captive in his home for 10 years.

Castro's suicide note was discovered by FBI agents in his house, from which the women he abducted -- Amanda Berry, 27, Gina DeJesus 23, and Michelle Knight, 32 -- escaped Monday. According to a law enforcement source, Castro explains his motives for kidnapping the girls and how he did it.

The former Cleveland school bus driver seems tormented in the suicide note, questioning why he captured the three girls and calling himself "a sexual predator" who needs help.

Ariel Castro reportedly explains that he himself was sexually abused as a child, and raped by his uncle.

But if the suicide note is real, it leaves no reason to pity Ariel Castro, who blames his victims for their abduction and abuse at his hands. The police report released yesterday reveals how Castro first abducted Michelle Knight in 2002 in the area of West 106th Street and Lorain Avenue in Cleveland by stopping and offering her a ride home.

Instead of taking her to her house, he took her to his -- and chained her up in the basement where her ten-year nightmare began.

Next came Amanda Berry, who was walking home from Burger King on West 110th Street and Lorain Avenue when Castro offered her a lift. He told her that his son also worked at Burger King.

The third victim, Gina DeJesus was friends with Castro's daughter. Castro reportedly approached DeJesus with his daughter, then later returned on his own and told DeJesus that he would give her a ride to his house where the girls could hang out.

Though Castro was a familiar face in the neighborhood and known personally by DeJesus, the suicide note blames the victims for accepting his offered rides. "They are here against their will because they made a mistake of getting a car with a total stranger."

The "total stranger" he refers to in the third-person, of course, is himself: Ariel Castro, a man accused of kidnapping three young teenagers and chaining them in his basement, where he inflicted ten years' worth of horrific sexual abuse, beatings, forced pregnancies, and violent abortions administered through starvation and punches to the stomach.

19 Action News' Scott Taylor tweeted excerpts from the chilling suicide note, revealing details that are nauseating and mystifying in turn. Castro apparently "writes he was surprised how young Gina DeJesus really is cause he thought she was a lot older." He also writes about wanting to kill himself and "give all the money I saved to my victims."

As a self-proclaimed sexual predator, Castro seems to suggest that his compulsion was uncontrollable. "I don't know why I kept looking for another. I already had 2 in my possession."

The full police report on the kidnapping case, released yesterday, revealed horrific details of the captivity the three women were forced to endure. One heart-wrenching section reveals how one victim, Michelle Knight, was forced to deliver victim Amanda Berry's baby in a plastic pool as Ariel Castro looked on, telling Michelle that if the baby died, he would kill her.

Castro reportedly impregnated Knight five times, forcing an abortion each time by starving her for at least two weeks and then repeatedly punching her in the stomach until she miscarried.

Castro is being charged with four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape.
